The Chase

just now my neighbour returned home just to get something quickly. since she has an automated gate, she could simply drive in, leave the engine running, grab her stuff and drive out again without having to egress the vehicle to open and close the gate.

so when she drove into her home, a stray cat (ironically) strayed into her home. this 'invasion' of space brought her dog into a game of chasing the poor cat. the chase took the pair all the way to the street corner. once my neighbour, who was oblivious to all this excitement, got her stuff, she opened her gate remotely, left the house and closed it remotely. her dog, having 'secured' the home, scampered to get in before the gates swung close. predictably, the poor dog was not quick enough and till this moment is roaming around outside the house awaiting the chance to enter.

i am so thrilled by this and decided i had to share it.

i'd like to end with the note that it was definitely a lot funnier than the way i have expressed this.
