flash flood

today was extremely eventful!

while i was driving, a flash flood swept my car and a few others off course. then all the cars got stranded. water started filling the interior of the car. i suppose it was the same for the others. i was right next to the drain and i realized i had to get out of the car pronto. so i killed the engine, took off my seatbealt and pushed the door open with all my might. as i stepped out, i was waist deep in water and the current carried me towards the culvert. there was a chain link fence above the drain and i clung onto that. i slowly pulled myself up the slope along the fencing. then the rest of the people that got stranded huddled together and some went to warn other motorist. after an hour, the water subsided and some construction crew nearby helped to push the cars out of the way. i called kurnia assist to tow my car after the bulldozer had cleared the road of mud and rocks. this happened at the tunnel heading towards tropicana golf and country club. the tow truck operator then took me home.

the best part is, i'm alive!
